This role provides an opportunity to work closely with the founders and engineering leads to shape the product, contribute to the company culture, and play a significant part in building a strong team.
Job Responsibilities
- Product Deployment: Deploy Aurva’s product across various customer environments, applying best practices for different settings.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize the deployment and maintenance of resources within Aurva’s own environment, ensuring scalability and smooth operations.
- DevOps Tools & Automation: Leverage DevOps tools, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to enable efficient and automated deployment processes.
- CI/CD & Automation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and other automation tools for seamless software delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance using logging and monitoring tools, and troubleshoot any performance issues to ensure optimal operation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer with experience in managing infrastructure at scale.
- Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Containers & Infrastructure-as-Code: Proficiency in container technologies, particularly the Kubernetes (k8s) ecosystem, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code paradigms.
- Scripting Skills: Strong scripting abilities in high-level languages like Python.
- CI/CD Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for software delivery.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools to troubleshoot and maintain system performance.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
