Responsibilities:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, analysts, product managers, and engineers to understand product requirements and roadmaps.
- Design & Development: Participate in design discussions and coding reviews, and contribute to the architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling of both new and existing systems.
- Feature Implementation: Develop and optimize new features with a focus on quality, reliability, and performance.
- Independent Work: Take ownership of tasks and work independently to build solutions with minimal oversight.
- Best Practices: Implement software engineering best practices, including agile development, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Technical Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
- Android Development Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in developing, releasing, and maintaining Android applications. Share your apps on Google Play as proof of your work.
- UI Design Expertise: Proficiency in Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- SDK Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Android SDK and familiarity with Kotlin or Java.
- Architectural Contribution: Experience contributing to system architecture and design, focusing on scalability, reliability, and design patterns.
- Advanced Skills: Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning, and RESTful APIs.
- Version Control: Proficient with Git and familiar with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
- Published Work: Have published at least one original Android app and have experience supporting multiple Android devices.
