About Sparkathon
Sparkathon is an open innovation challenge hosted by Walmart Global Tech in India. It’s your chance to ideate, collaborate, and code your way to creating delightful shopping experiences for the next generation. This year’s theme focuses on the future of retail, where the lines between online and offline worlds are blurring more than ever.
Eligibility
- Engineering students in India: If you’re pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science & AI, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, or Mathematics, you’re eligible to participate.
- Graduation year: You must be part of a full-time program graduating in either 2025 or 2026. This applies to B.E./B.Tech (excluding first and second years), dual degrees (excluding first, second, and third years), and M.E./M.Tech programs (excluding first year students).
- Team Size: 2-4 members
Hackathon Timeline
- July 15, 2024: Applications Open! Get your team together and start brainstorming your ideas.
- August 16, 2024: Last Date to Apply. Don’t miss out – submit your application before the deadline!
- August 30, 2024: Finalist Announcement. Find out if you’ve made it to the next round!
- September 20, 2024: Winner Announcement. The winning team is crowned!
